A strong future generation should create an enriched Tamil Nadu, is the vision of Thalapathi M K Stalin. Following missions are undertaken to achieve the vision, at his ministerial and social working capacity.

• Child Labour should be totally eradicated. Job opportunities should becreated for parents who send their children to work for their livelihood, a situation induced by poverty. These children should be retrieved from labour and should be educated.

• Students of Tamil Nadu should excel at all levels namely school education, higher and technical education. Tamil Nadu should have high literacy and 100% literate parents in the future, and this aim should be achieved in a short period of time.

• Like his future aim for education, another prime motive is to create job opportunities for all. The vacant positions in government offices and in upcoming private companies should create employment opportunity for the youth of our country. He has also taken efforts for the youth to get training in various fields such as industrial skills, BPO, Information Technology to widen the scope of job opportunities. Also they should be trained in technical field, personality development, English language communication and soft skills like training for interviews with confidence.

• Another important aim of Thiru. M K Stalin is that this development, should not make the future generation, lose their roots, i.e. learning the mother tongue namely Tamil. They should be given adequate knowledge and training in Tamil from the school level. The two thousand year-old Tamil language rich in literature and cultural heritage should be appreciated by the future generation, technical knowledge should be available in Tamil. Emphasis on learning Tamil will foster cultural sentiment of the classical language.

• He has always reiterated the necessity for sports and fitness among the young. He has always expressed his objection against fast food, tinned food and polluted environment which affects the nation as a whole and the health hazards caused of the younger generation. A healthy physique can be obtained by playing sports. Both boys and girls should choose their games of interest and ardently get trained; representing Tamil Nadu nationwide. For this purpose, the present play grounds, stadiums and other practice facilities should be upgraded to the international level.  Popular games like cricket, tennis, foot ball, volley ball and traditional Tamil games like kabadi, Silambam (sing-stick play) boxing should be promoted with public-private support and contributions. Training programs should be available to both men and women players, to bring glory to Tamil Nadu not only in the national level but also aim at taking part in Olympics, Asian games and various other prestigious events.

• The Dravidian Movement has shown immense importance in women’s advancement, equal rights, participating in administrations, education and employment. The importance of women were brought in during the regime of D.M.K. Self Help Groups for women to support themselves and find their place in society was an initiative by the DMK government.  Women are capable of everything a man is, given the right opportunities. Thus he believed that necessary programs and legislative proposals should be introduced.

• Similarly, he is also working to create Youth Self Help Groups for generating similar opportunities to youngsters. He is also very keen that the third gender namely the ‘Eunuchs’ also must be accepted in the society and he desires to uplift them and recognise them as part of the society. He wants to make Tamil Nadu as a role model State for social equality and a platform for free expression.

• In the Medical Field, all sections of people in Tamil Nadu deserve good primary care at affordable prices.  Primary care centres should organise community programs like vaccinations and public health awareness campaigns regularly. He dreams of a society having the world’s best medical facilities capable of controlling and eradicating all diseases.

In short, Tamil Nadu should emerge as an ideal State of India, excelling in the fields of education, hygiene, agriculture, industrial growth, city planning and good environment. Tamil Nadu should change to a casteless, creedless society, into a society of humanity.
