Respected Sir, The TNPSC has called for applications to Group-I services preliminary examination to be held on May 2, 2010. The preliminary exam is just a screening test to weed out non-serious candidates. TNPSC follows 1:10 ratio for selection to the Main Examination - number of candidates to be called for the main exam is 10 times the number of vacancies. This time the number of vacancies are around 61. So, totally 610 candidates will be allowed for main exam. In others states like Andhra, 1:50 ratio is followed. In states like Bihar, all candidates who secure a minimum mark - 40 per cent are called for the main exam. The selection ratio 1:10 set by the TNPSC is very low. Following the Andhra model, 1:50 ratio should be implemented. This will benefit thousands of candidates, particularly the ones from rural areas who do not have access to coaching classes. I humbly request you kindly direct the Personnel & Administrative Reforms department to implement 1:50 ratio selection in the preliminary exam of TNPSC Group-I services. Sir, With due respect,i just wanna share a thought about our SETC buses.Its been some time since i travelled in SETC buses when i go out of town,i hope its the same with many in TN.Sir,its time that you change the way that people look at our SETC buses.My First option is always a private bus,why is that?? i certainly dont wanna spend unnecessaryly..i am afraid this sad story is only for TN,Karnataka is exceptionally good when it comes to its transport dept. The condition of our SETC buses is pathetic sir.I am honestly ashamed when i look our buses which travels to our neighbour states.Maintainance is something which is totally off in our dept.Hopefully you will make us proud of our services very soon

Hello sir, i just say my view of suggestion DMK helping poor peoples i really appreciate but doing lot of things for our state i just suggest main things transportation like Bus at present running lot of buses in Tamilnadu ya it's good, but maintenance is very poor, it will consider maintenance surely bus lifetime also increases.. & city Traffic and now my living place is Tiruvallur is Headquarters of this district but lack of infrastructure like road, busstand, colleges, parks so kindly consider this place for your view. When i enquired they told tat they have not received letter from SECRETARIAT and DGCA (DELHI). i went to TAHDCO office in ANNA NAGAR for nearly 5 MONTHS. but they did not respond properly. so i request you to kindly interfere in this process and help STUDENTS LIKE ME. Respected Hon. Dy CM, I wish to bring a local issue as once i had experienced and know your action if it is being complaint through your web site. We the residents of Mangayarkarasi Street, East Tambaram are facing threat to our life and our children are scare to go out for school as there is lot of snakes moving very frequently from a vacant compounded plot (Plot no. 20 & Old Door no. 11) which is being unattended with out any maintenance by the owner. Even the vendors delivering the essential commodities like Milk, Water etc. are being frightened to deliver their goods to our street. It affects our “right to live” status as the condition of the vacant plot is in a very bad shape with lot of bushes and water logging during the rainy days. It will even become worst condition during summer season where it has become a hide out for strangers and miscreants. When we have reported to the local councilor Mr. Saiganesh, he had cleaned the land once and he had captured few snakes minimum about 4 feet long from the said location a year back and it has become the same old condition now. Also, we are in the area where there is no drainage facility is being provided for the years together and the whole drainage water is flowing on the road, which has become a big threat to our our / children's health. Our steps to find out the owner of the premises have gone in vain as they become untraceable to us. May we request your good office look it in a humanitarian ground from our end and take the necessary steps immediately to bring us atleast a standard living condition? Thanks in Advance

Respected and Dear Sir, Let me introduce myself as a resident of Porur Gardens,a high profile locality in Vanagaram village. The civic amenities here are at a very poor state. Our area has more than 150 houses with a combination of residents from school going kids to old people. During the monsoon in Chennai, our area is inundated under 2-3 feet of water. Since there is no drainage system for the rain water, the water stagnates for months, making it highly unhealthy for old and young people alike. School going kids in particular are badly affected. Adding to this trauma in the pathetic condition of roads in the locality which are full of bumps and potholes. This issue has been elevated to the local Vanagaram Panchayat several times but they are helpless as they complain of lack of funds to provide a proper storm water drain and good roads. Respected Sir, I know that you are an astute leader and a model politician.I earnestly request your goodself to kindly look in to the issue and arrange to provide the necessary amenities for the betterment of general public of Porur Gardens region. sir , first of all i would like to congratuate in all achievements u ve achieved .sir i m resistent of kolathur , chennai v r lacking behind in all basic amenities, no bus stand for population nearly 3 lakhs , buses dont come properly , narrow roads , poor maintenance of public properties , more vacant land in main roads of no use to public . there r nearly acres of temple properties which can used for bus stand , shopping malls , other facilities . its always same case neglecting of north chennai , v pile ly share autos in this areas which make ransom money .city is developing at fast kolathur population is also increasing , poor people wait r walk to retteri stop for buses . v r glad perambur flyover is gettig over , also villivakkam sub way . loco bridge but considering need of people flyover over retteri signal needed its jammed in peak hours , hope u do needful

sir I am a resident of chennai(sr.citizen) and was residing in a foreign land for the past 35 years. I am having own house in chennai villivakkam jawaharnagar for the past 23 years. I was driving lince holder of tamilnadu from 1967 and from uae 1985 Now i donot have a licence and a ration card Due to longtime visit to homeland unable to renew the licence when contacted the liccence authorities they are not renewing the old licence or not converting the foreign licence to indian licence. Rationcard people also refused to issue rationcard and asking unnecessary querries. PLEASE ARRANGE TO SETTLE THE MATTERS FOR THE N R Is without any unnecessary querries. THANKS AND REGARDS. Dear Sir, Request you to help in developing Marudhamalai temple works and poojas. At present Temple work is very slow, it is pending for more than 5 years. There are lots of development works to be done. Also the 6times pooja is not happening as required/based on the standard pooja. Very very simple Abishekam only happening. There are lots of issues in pooja method. Request you to order for invetigation to find out problems in Temple administration. Pls pls do the needful for Koval people. Honourable Deputy CM Mr.M.K.Statin Sir,First Congratulations for the work being done in Tamilnadu.I am Resident of Ambattur,We are facing a very big issue of very bad & small road -CTH road earlier called as MTH Road.It takes 45minutes to reach Ambattur from Ambattur Estate which is only 6kms due to bad condition of Road,I understand there is a plan for 150feet Highway road to be laid,due to various issues from road side shops the plan is getting delayed.I request you to help us in widening the road atleast by 5feet on either side from Padi to Avadi & also help us having good road like the same way by scraping the old road being done in various parts of city ,If the patch is being laid that makes road even worse in the rains.If we can get the widened road our people can save more time,Fuel & reduce our intake of Pollution,stress,mud in our shirts etc etc.I would even request you to plan a visit till Pattabiram travelling through Padi bridge in CTH road so that we get good road immediately .I compare this with NAGARVALAM of ILAVARASAR.I hope the issue will be solved soon.Thankyou very much.
